Holland Elementary School
The Holland Elementary School is looking for children born by August 31, 2011 who will be eligible for kindergarten next year to estimate how many kindergarteners will be attending the 2016/2017 school year.
Please contact Holland Elem. School at (413)245-9644 if you have a child who is not in the Holland Elem. Preschool, but will be eligible for kindergarten.
Registration will be held Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.

Part Time Brimfield Local Access Television Coordinator/Producer
The town of Brimfield is seeking a part-time Local Access Coordinator for its Government and Public Access channels. The position is for 12 hours weekly at a salary of $18.00 per hour.
Reporting to the selectmen and their Cable Advisory Committee, this individual will promote an informed and closer community through production of programming by and for the residents of Brimfield. The Local Access Coordinator will be the primary town employee responsible for government and local access stations as well as cooperating to provide educational access programming as needed.
The Local Access TV Coordinator/Producer will:
-Work in concert with the CAC to set and meet local access budgets, plans and goals.
-Upload, convert and schedule programming for government & public access channels.
-Coordinate with a clerk/assistant to assure updating of televised announcements.
-Schedule and Coordinate community volunteers and train when necessary.
-Participate in productions and video record meetings or events as needed.
-Related tasks as specified by the CAC or the BOS.
-Administer equipment loans and storage of equipment media.
-Help residents create video productions by training & assisting them to utilize town-owned equipment and facilities.
Knowledge and experience with videography, video editing and work in a public-interest environment are required. Overall communication skills and the ability to accommodate various town departments and the public’s need for televised communication is essential. The successful applicant should be comfortable working in a volunteer environment and generating community interest. Knowledge of Tightrope Media Systems, Anycast, and Tricaster Studio Systems is required. Knowledge of the town of Brimfield is desirable. Hours may be flexible; some evening availability is desired.

Hello!! Before you know it December will be here. FCC Lowering Devices is sponsoring the ceremony for Wreaths Across America on behalf of all of our deceased veterans for the 4th year. You have shown interest in our ceremony before and I am hoping you will continue to support our effort. Below is a list of names of veterans in Holland Cemetery. If you would like to sponsor a grave please pick a name or names from the list below. Only 5 wreaths have been purchased to date and we have a long way to go if we want to cover all of them.
